As one of the Principals of Voluntary Benefits at Work, Tonya Lancaster manages the implementation and enrollment processes for the company. She is a Voluntary Benefits Consultant with over 20 years of experience in sales, implementation and enrollment of voluntary benefits. Tonya graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance. Upon graduation, she worked for ADP for 9 years in payroll implementation and payroll sales. Tonya thrives in providing exceptional customer service while helping her clients implement the best benefit solutions at the best value.

Brian Ely, Principal


As one of the Principals of Voluntary Benefits at Work, Brian Ely directs the sales, technology and operations for the company. He is a Voluntary Benefits Consultant with years of experience in sales, implementation and enrollment of voluntary benefits. Brian is an Alumni of the Terry College of Business at UGA and has been a top producer for a variety of insurance companies over the past 20 years.

Bob Fish, Managing Partner


Bob is a seasoned insurance expert who manages Voluntary Benefits at Work’s partnership with MISBO and member schools. With 20 years of corporate experience and 17 years of operating a successful supplemental insurance business throughout the Southeast, he has honed his skills in providing tailored insurance services that cater to the unique needs of each institution. Bob’s passion for offering financial relief to policyholders during tough times and providing value and comfort when they need it the most is second to none. As a Certified Long-Term Care specialist, he possesses expertise in developing voluntary benefit packages that include comprehensive Long-Term Care Solutions. Bob’s commitment to delivering customized insurance coverage ensures that his clients receive complete protection for their employees.

Daniel F. Trzos, MPA, RHU, ChHC, Managing Partner


Managing partner Dan Trzos began in the insurance industry in 1993. With 26 years of experience, he has managed a national claims department, run his own group health agency, and consulted for federal navigators and provided benefit consultant services to major carriers. Dan’s focus with VBW includes broker development, direct sales, presentations and enrollment services. Dan graduated from Georgia State University with a Master in Public Administration and holds ChHC and RHU certifications from The American College.

Terri Campbell, Managing Partner


Terri Campbell has 20 years of experience in the enhanced benefits market. Terri facilitates the sales, implementation, and enrollment process for companies throughout the Southeast. She has a proven track record to help businesses save and succeed in delivering insurance and human resource related services to their employees. Terri has consulted and delivered services for major companies including several Fortune 1000 companies. Terri is a Winthrop College alumni with a degree in Business.

Don Kredensor, Managing Partner


Don Kredensor directs the operations and sales in South Carolina, North Carolina, and a variety of other states. Don has over 16 years of insurance experience and has managed more than 80 agents to help deliver the best available solutions and service, empowering businesses to meet the needs of their employees so they and their businesses can thrive. Don graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Shannon Trowbridge, Managing Partner


Shannon Trowbridge manages the implementation and enrollment processes for the company. He is a Voluntary Benefits Consultant with 13 + years of experience in sales, implementation and enrollment of voluntary benefits. Shannon graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Business Administration. Shannon greatly enjoys creating creative strategies to help meet the needs of this clients.

Lora Watson, Managing Partner


Lora Watson began her insurance career in 2004. Prior to being in the insurance industry, Lora was a policyholder with a voluntary benefits insurance company and she unfortunately had to use her policy. Without this policy in place, her family would have suffered severe financial hardship. She saw how valuable this coverage was for her personally, so she decided to become an agent and help other families in the same situation. Lora has 16 years of experience in the Voluntary Benefits space with carriers like Aflac, Assurity, Colonial Life, and Transamerica. She joined Voluntary Benefits at Work in January 2019 to expand her abilities to help her agents and clients. After just a year with VB@Work she was chosen to lead the greater Houston market for the Atlanta, Georgia based firm. Her mission is to make a difference in someone’s life. Her favorite saying, “Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for that one person”.

J. Brandon West, Managing Partner


Brandon is the National Director of Market Development for VBW focusing on driving the sales for Brokers and Agents in the Voluntary Employee Benefits space by implementing new marketing strategies. Currently Brandon works with over 500 licensed agents and brokers nationally by utilizing the Transamerica Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance Product with Living Benefits (a solution for Long Term Care) while driving the sales of other Voluntary Products. He has over 23 years of experience in the worksite market with Aflac and VBW. Prior to his insurance career Brandon served in the United States Air Force from 1993-1997.

Brandon also works with Self -Funded companies across the U.S. analyzing their Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) company’s Financial Agreement and Administrative Services Agreement through a comprehensive auditing/consulting procedure. The ultimate goal is to unlock all unnecessary fees and costs charged by their PBM that result in direct RX overspending by the client.

Brock Powell, Managing Partner


Brock Powell graduated in 1995 from Mercer University with a degree in Economics and Management from the Stetson School of Business. After graduating, he spent over 24 years in the insurance business with an emphasis on voluntary benefits and broker solutions. He started his own insurance agency specializing in group health employee benefits. Brock specializes in enrollment solutions for companies and brokers, as well as offering GI Life and other voluntary product solutions.
